Mermaid Working on Her Tan Framed canvas

Roman loves both 19th century Victorian Art and American Pop Art as you can tell, homaging both in this oil painting.

John William Waterhouse is Roman's favorite painter and his 1900 painting "a mermaid" helped inspire this piece.

However, Roman chose a more American Pop Art color scheme.  Because American Pop Art is like California wine.  It's bursting with color as California wines burst with flavor.  Once it's up on your wall, nobody could pass by this painting without noticing the colors bombarding their senses.  Colors specifically chosen to represent serenity, spiritual clarity, and stability.

Allie modeled for this painting on their 2024 European vacation.  Allie wore only sweatpants for the modeling session, with her blonde hair flowing down her back.  Yes, it really is that long.  Roman encourages his models to keep their hair very long.
