About Roman Riva

A forty-seven year old musician. Heading towards death at the bottom of the bottle.

After ten years between two bands, five music videos, and a rotation of singers, it all came to a screeching halt. His passion squashed.

But little did he know the best was yet to come. . .

While visiting a former co-worker, he eyed a gorgeous nineteen year old blue-eyed blonde. Who put today's Hollywood actresses to shame. No way he'd pass up talking to her.

They became friends. And one thing led to another.

She learned he’s a former cartoonist.

“Draw me.”

She loved it so much she convinced him to take his Art seriously.

And once she took her clothes off, everything changed. He committed to a new passion, watercolors.

And soon, he met another nineteen year old cutie at the local coffee shop. A shapely Latina with black hair tickling her waist.

She saw his works. And also wanted to be painted.

But whereas watercolors create lovely sceneries, they lack the skin tone likeness of oils. Roman learned he’d have to convert, and finally switched last year to oils.

Those same two models, Allie the blonde, and Roxy the Latina, are his two primary models today. You'll see them in all Roman's paintings. Since those early years, they've become family.

Roman is married and has a grown son who's already served his country. He's been featured in two Art Galleries and four Art & Wine shows. But this year moved his catalog online as people don't enjoy wine like they used to.
