Katie as Selene

Selene is the Ancient Greek goddess of the Moon.  A Titan, she's the daughter of Hyperion and Theia.  She's sisters with Helios, the sun god, and Eos, the goddess of the dawn.

The Ancient Greeks traditionally painted or statued her with horns.  But during the Art Deco days, Artists often removed the horns and painted her as a beautiful women, usually nude, who sat on the moon.

Roman wanted to homage the Art Deco tradition while painting from a more American Pop Art perspective, with fantasy colors.

This watercolor and ink painting comes matted and framed as is ready to hang up.  That's Katie holding the painting, so you get an idea of the size of the painting.  Katie is 5'4".

About the model - Katie is the former North Texas Bikini Champion.  Roman and Katie met in Dallas in 2022 and Roman's been painting Katie ever since.  Unfortunately for Roman, Katie moved to Los Angeles in early 2026 as her modeling prospects are considerably better there.
